FISHING AT LOCHINDORB
Despite its size Loch Lochindorb is not noted for big fish, but the wild brown trout are plentiful and can provide exciting sport. Guests can fish from the bank for free - an excellent way for beginners to learn the art of fly fishing - and boats can be hired from May till the end of September. Prior booking of boats is advisable (contact Mrs Brown on 01309 651270). There is a lot of quality game fishing throughout the region, with wild brown and stocked rainbow trout lochs in nearby Speyside, as well as salmon and sea trout on the Spey itself. Salmon and sea trout fishing (fly only) on the River Findhorn may also be available to guests. Please enquire for prices and availability.

Tackle: For trout fishing on Lochindorb use standard sized trout rods and traditional wet fly patterns. There are several good local tackle shops where advice is available.
