  • Advertisements are carried on fishinscotland.net on the assumption that they comply with the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 and 1972, the Consumer Protection Act 1987, and any other applicable regulation. Fish in Scotland reserves the right to decline or reject any application at any time without assigning a reason, and to remove without notice any advertisement found to contravene the above regulations.

  • The advertiser will be responsible for and shall indemnify Fish in Scotland against all losses, damages, costs and expenses by reason or on account of any libel or infringement of copyright due to text and/or photographs supplied by the advertiser. In the event that Fish in Scotland is found liable to pay damages, costs or expenses, the advertiser will be liable to pay the same to Fish in Scotland.

  • Fish in Scotland disclaims all warranties with regard to the information contained on their website, including all implied warranties of satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose. Fish in Scotland gives no confirmation or guarantee of the description or the standard of the fishing, accommodation, or fishing related products or services as advertised on the website.

  • It is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure that the content of their advertisement is factually correct throughout the advertising period. Fish in Scotland does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy of this information. In no event shall Fish in Scotland be liable for any damages resulting from loss of use, data or profits, in connection with the use of this information.

  • The design, coding, and intellectual copyright of the Fish in Scotland website are fully protected by UK and international copyright law. Content displayed on the website may not be reproduced in any form without the prior written permission of Fish in Scotland or the appropriate copyright holder.

To maintain the integrity of search engine listings Fish in Scotland reserves the right to leave modified versions of discontinued advertisements online for a limited period of time. Any responses to such advertisements will be forwarded free of charge. Advertisements will be fully removed on request.

  • The Law of Scotland will apply to this contract.
